WHAT WE BELIEVE

GOD IS ONE

Biblical teaching asserts that God is one spirit who is one person, not three persons. "Father", "Son" and "Holy Ghost" are useful titles reflecting the different manifestations of the One True God.

According to the Bible, the "Son" did not exist in any form prior to the manifestation of Jesus of Nazareth, except in the foreknowledge of God. In Jesus(Christ), God put on heavenly flesh at a precise moment in time, while remaining fully and eternally God: "for in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily" (John 1:1-14; 1 Timothy 3:16; Colossians 2:9). So JESUS Is God Manifested in the Flesh!

BAPTISM IN JESUS' NAME

Baptism is essential component of ACI doctrine. The Bible affirms an indispensable need for baptism, citing John 3:5, Acts 2:38 and Matthew 28:19. The Biblical mode of baptism is complete immersion in water, completed in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

The Jesus' Name belief originates from Acts 2:38, and the Bible also stress Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, and Acts 19:5, claiming that these are the only scriptures showing how the early Church performed baptisms, and that the Bible authorizes no departure from that formula.

IN-FILLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The word of the Lord Jesus to Nicodemus in John 3:3-6 says, “Verily, Verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.. Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

From this word we can clearly understand that being born again from water and the Spirit is essential for the salvation of a human being.

In John 3:6 it says, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh.” That means he/she is Adamic. The body, soul and spirit of every Adamic being is sinful and lost. Thus the fallen nature of everyone needs regeneration in order to be saved.

The word of God in:

Tit. 3:4-5 says, “But after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by work of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” We believe, according to this word, that regeneration by baptism in water (in the name of Jesus Christ) and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost are essentials for salvation.

We also believe that for that reason the word of God in Acts 2:38 says, “…Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost,”
